Janet Bawcom

Janet is the General Counsel for Filtration Group. In this role, she serves as chief legal counsel for the company and leads all aspects of Filtration Group’s legal, regulatory, and public affairs around the world.

Prior to joining Filtration Group in 2021, Janet served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer of Ingredion Incorporated, a global provider of food ingredients. Before assuming her position at Ingredion, she served as Senior Vice President-Corporate, Securities & Finance Counsel of Dell Technologies Inc., where she worked for nearly 20 years and held prior roles leading the legal teams supporting Dell’s consumer and small & medium business sales and marketing organizations.

Additionally, she was in private practice in Dallas, Texas prior to joining Dell. Janet clerked for Chief Judge Loren A. Smith of the US Federal Court of Claims.

Janet received her law degree from the Southern Methodist University School of Law, where she served on the Board of Editors of the Journal of Air Law and Commerce. She is a former Chair of the Women’s Interest Network of the ABA’s Section of International Law and Practice.
