Kristine Lauten

Kristine Lauten began their work experience as a Senior Internal Operations Auditor at Sara Lee Direct in 1993. Kristine then worked at Sara Lee Intimate Apparel as a Manager in Cost Accounting, Planning, and Reporting from 1996 to 1999. Kristine joined Levolor Home Fashions as the Canadian Controller from 1999 to 2001, where they were responsible for financial processes and managing the integration into Newell Rubbermaid and Levolor Corporate functions.

From 2001 to 2003, Kristine served as a Contract Controller at Nomus North Carolina, Inc, overseeing accounting and finance areas for three operating entities during bankruptcy proceedings. Kristine then became a Plant Controller at Chesapeake Printing and Packaging from 2003 to 2006, where they managed general and cost accounting, purchasing, and IT groups.

From 2006 to 2012, Kristine worked at Mohawk Industries in various roles, including Plant Controller and Director of Manufacturing Finance. Kristine was responsible for overseeing the finance operations of a laminate flooring operation and North American manufacturing finance functions. Kristine also played a key role in implementing SAP and legacy system improvements.

Kristine joined Honda Aircraft Company in 2012 as a Manager in General Ledger Accounting and Reporting. Kristine was responsible for general accounting, reporting to Honda Motors Japan and Honda Automotive Manufacturing, and implementing SAP modules/upgrades.

In 2015, Kristine became a Senior Site Controller at Evonik, where they were responsible for manufacturing controlling for two North American locations producing superabsorbents. Kristine'sresponsibilities included monthly closing, variance analysis, and preparation of annual plans.

From 2019 to 2022, Kristine served as a Regional Finance Director at DS Smith, responsible for finance functions across multiple packaging manufacturing plants. Kristine'sduties included month-end analysis, annual budgeting, forecasting working capital, and KPI tracking.

Most recently, Kristine was appointed as the Head of Finance Americas at Filtrona in 2023.

Kristine Lauten earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University, where they studied from 1986 to 1989. After completing their undergraduate education, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners in November 1989. Later, from 1995 to 1997, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing and Operations from Wake Forest University School of Business.
