Simon Durtnal has a diverse work experience in leadership roles involving digital transformation and business innovation. Simon currently serves as the Chief Business & Digital Transformation Officer at Fimatix, where they develop enterprise-wide transformation strategies and implements digital products and services for financial services, regulatory, government clients, and strategic partners.

In their previous role as the Managing Director Digital Transformation Practice (Interim) at FTI Consulting, Simon worked closely with the Group CIO and CEO of G4S to develop innovative strategies for digitizing and automating the business, leading to significant cost reduction and performance improvement across the global enterprise.

Simon has also served as the Director of Digital & Business Innovation & Transformation at Insight Solutions, the Director of Digital & Business Transformation (Interim) at HGS - Hinduja Global Solutions, and the Director of Global Planning (Financial Crime & CTF) (Interim) at HSBC. In these roles, they have led various transformation initiatives, including IT and HR transformation, payments and insurance IT, and regulatory controls and systems transformation for banking and insurance.

Earlier in their career, Simon held leadership positions at ATE Insurance, Barclays, BT, and Hewlett-Packard. Simon'sresponsibilities involved launching a UK start-up for specialist health insurance products, leading global acquisitions, carveouts, integrations, and transformations, and providing technology, business, and operations innovation for major global clients.

Simon'swork spans across various industries, including financial services, insurance, retail, energy, and technology.

Simon Durtnal's education history includes a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Portsmouth and completion of the Special Communications Operators Course at the Royal School of Signals. Simon also pursued a master's degree in Digital Communications at Oxford Brookes University and received training in Military and Strategic Leadership at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. In addition, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as Agile Project Management, Business Process Analysis, Scrum Master, Change Management, and Enterprise Architecture from institutions like APMG International, BCS, Scrum Alliance, and The Open Group.
