Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos

Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Dimitrios is currently working as the Vice President - ESG & Business Continuity Manager at FIMBank plc. Prior to that, they served as a Project Manager Business Development at Finance Incorporated Limited. Before that, they held the position of Assistant Manager at the National Bank of Greece. Dimitrios also worked at Alpha Bank as a Project Manager/Business Analyst and later as a Licensed Personal Banker/Investments-Loans Officer. Dimitrios started their career at Citi as a Personal Banker/Investments - Loans Officer/Citigold Exec. Dimitrios also worked at Eurobank, Alouette S.A., Nova, Nikolaos A. Spanos S.A, and OTE Group of Companies (HTO) in various roles.

Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos has a strong educational background and has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2005, they graduated from the University of Western Macedonia in Kozani with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, Dimitrios attended EPL N. Filadelfeias, where they obtained their High School Diploma with a focus on Information Technology & Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Dimitrios has pursued further certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2009, they obtained a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) from the Bank of Greece. Furthermore, in 2018, Dimitrios became GDPR Certified through Alpha Bank.

More recently, Dimitrios has acquired additional certifications in various fields. In 2022, they completed the "Introduction to Digital Currencies (Blockchain)" and "Introduction to Decentralized Finance (DeFi)" courses at the University of Nicosia. Dimitrios also obtained the "ISO 22301: Essentials of Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS)" certification from Alison in November 2022.
