Forough Ensandoust

Forough Ensandoust currently serves as Vice President and Head of RISK ALMT Model Review at BNP Paribas CIB since July 2024 and has been a Mentor of Machine Learning in Finance at Fin-ML since March 2022. Prior roles at BNP Paribas included Vice President and Associate Vice President in Model Validation from April 2021 to July 2024. Forough's experience also encompasses a position as a Data Scientist at Shopify from July 2020 to March 2021 and various roles at the National Bank of Canada between January 2013 and July 2020, culminating in Senior AI Scientist and Chief Analyst positions. Earlier, Forough worked as a Microelectronic Design Engineer at PMC-Sierra, now known as Microsemi, from February 2008 to February 2011. Academically, Forough holds a Master of Science in Ingénierie Financière from HEC Montréal, a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, a Bachelor of Arts in Pure Mathematics from Concordia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, supplemented by a high school diploma in Mathematics from NODET.
