Matt Mullarkey

Matt Mullarkey is the SVP of Legal Affairs at FinAccel. Prior to joining FinAccel, Mullarkey spent two years as Senior Legal Counsel with ADNOC Group. From October 2018 to September 2019, they were based in Abu Dhabi working on various upstream oil & gas projects and from August 2020 to February 2021, they were based in Dubai working on projects in the downstream sector. Mullarkey also spent time as a Senior Associate with Shearman & Sterling LLP from May 2016 to November 2021, where they worked on project finance and development, as well as mergers & acquisitions. Matt began their career as an Associate with K&L Gates from January 2014 to May 2016, before moving to Clifford Chance LLP from January 2012 to December 2014. Mullarkey started their legal career as the Principal State Attorney & Legal Advisor to the Attorney General of Rwanda from January 2010 to December 2012.

Matt Mullarkey holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Haverford College, a J.D. from Pepperdine Law, and an M.A. in International Relations and Affairs, Philosophy and Political Science from the University of St Andrews. Matt is certified as a Solicitor of England and Wales by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, as a State Bar of California by the State Bar of California, and as a Washington State Bar by the Washington State Bar Association.
