Gerhard van Den Berg

Gerhard Van den Berg is the Manager of Audit Oversight at Financial Markets Authority in New Zealand since June 2021. Prior to this, Gerhard held the position of Audit Manager at Audit New Zealand from September 2017 to June 2021. Gerhard also worked as an Assistant Audit Manager at Audit New Zealand. Before their New Zealand roles, Gerhard served as an Audit Manager at the Auditor-General of South Africa from January 2009 to December 2012. Gerhard Van den Berg holds a postgraduate degree in Accounting from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Pretoria.
