Mark Dungworth

Mark Dungworth currently serves as the Policy and Communications Manager at the Financial Ombudsman Service, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this, Mark was a Strategic Communications Adviser at the Financial Conduct Authority from November 2015 to July 2022, focusing on consumer credit and strategic communications. Mark's experience also includes serving as an External Relations Manager at the Competition and Markets Authority, where responsibilities involved managing relationships with key stakeholders in Westminster and Whitehall. Additionally, Mark worked at the Office of Fair Trading for over a decade, gaining diverse experience in regulatory enforcement, stakeholder management, and organisational strategy, including Parliamentary engagement and Government reform coordination. Mark holds an MA (Hons) in Public Policy and a BA (Hons) in Politics from The University of Sheffield.
