Richard Malkin

Richard Malkin currently serves as the Head of Organisational Capability at the Financial Ombudsman Service since September 2023. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Head Of Talent Management at Avison Young UK from June 2018 to May 2023, where leadership was provided to the Talent Acquisition, Future Talent, and Learning & Development teams on both national and international levels. From May 1998 to May 2018, Richard was the Head of Learning & Development at GVA UK, overseeing a team that supported 24 business units across the UK and implementing key talent development strategies. Earlier in Richard's career, roles included Training Manager and Senior Trainer at Maersk Air, as well as Trainer positions at ECOTEC Research and Consulting Limited. Richard Malkin earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Lancaster University between 1992 and 1994 and attended Solihull School from 1985 to 1992.
