Nathan Adams

Nathan Adams, CTP has a comprehensive work history in the banking and credit union industry. Nathan most recently held the position of Director of Commercial Services at Financial Plus Credit Union in Michigan since September 2019. Prior to that, they served as Vice President at Fifth Third Bank from September 2017 to August 2019, at Huntington National Bank from August 2014 to September 2017, at PNC from November 2010 to August 2014, and at Citizens Bank, now part of FirstMerit Bank, N.A., from June 1992 to November 2010.

Nathan Adams, CTP, holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Michigan-Flint, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. Nathan further pursued their academic endeavors and obtained an MBA in Finance from the same institute from 1995 to 1998. Nathan is also currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they are working towards earning a Certified Credit Union Executive certification, expected to be completed from 2022 to 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Nathan also holds several certifications. In 2004, they obtained the Certified Treasury Professional certification from the Association for Financial Professionals. Nathan also holds the Certified Score Mentor certification from SCORE Mentors, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
