Ruth Hurwitz has a rich and diverse work history that spans various industries and roles. Ruth started their career as an Assistant to the Political Editor at Details Magazine in 1990, then moved on to become a Senior Producer at News 12 Connecticut in 1992. Ruth then transitioned into the education sector, serving as a Senior Regional Director at World Learning in 1995, before founding an event planning company, Big Bash Productions, in 2004. Ruth later worked as the Communications Director and Senior Director of Leadership Development and Organizational Management at The Montessori School from 2006 to 2018. Ruth continued their career in professional development consulting at C3 from 2017 to 2019, before taking on roles at Financial Recovery Technologies as the Director of Professional Development & Administration and currently the Senior Director of Human Resources since 2022. Ruth Hurwitz completed their high school education at Lexington High School from 1980 to 1984. Ruth then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Richmond, The American International University in London from 1982 to 1998. Following this, Ruth obtained a Master of Science in Communication and Media Studies from The New School from 1990 to 1992. Lastly, they acquired an Advanced Diploma in Coaching from New York University from 2015 to 2017.
