James Tansey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability, social innovation, and impact investing. Currently serving as Chair and Director at the Financial Resilience Institute and Founder and CEO of Carbon Done Right Inc, James has played a pivotal role in addressing the growing demand for carbon credits. As an Associate Professor at the Sauder School of Business at UBC since 2006, James runs a research center focused on sustainability and clean technology innovation. James has also held key positions at Canvas Impact as CEO, Gemina Labs as a board member, and various advisory roles, showcasing a deep commitment to advancing sustainable practices across multiple sectors. James holds a PhD and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia and an International Baccalaureate from Atlantic College.
