Leena Doman-Brette FCCA, MBA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Senior Manager and head of the Capital Markets Department at the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius since April 2017. Leena previously held the position of Head Licensing, focusing on the policy and technical development of the Mauritius Financial Services Sector. Educational qualifications include a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) designation obtained between 2000 and 2006, a Master's degree in Financial Services from the University of Mauritius (2011-2013), and additional education at the University of Oxford and the IMF in 2018 and 2021, respectively. Prior roles include a lecturer on Fintech and Tax Planning at the University of Mauritius, a consultant for the World Bank Group focused on strengthening insurance regulation in Mauritius, and various positions in corporate administration and services.
