Barbara Hagenbaugh

Barbara Hagenbaugh is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in financial institutions and media. Currently serving as the Chief Communications Officer and Senior Advisor to the CEO at the Financial Services Forum since February 2018, Barbara leads strategic communications, media relations, and digital media for the organization. Prior to this role, Barbara held key positions at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as Deputy to the Chairman for Communications, and at the Federal Reserve Board as Senior Media Relations Specialist, where significant contributions were made to financial regulatory communications. Barbara's career also includes work as an Economics Correspondent at USA TODAY and a Correspondent for Thomson Reuters. Barbara earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
