Darren Dodd

Darren Dodd is an experienced writer and editor at the Financial Times since January 2007, currently contributing to the FT Newswrap and Disrupted Times newsletters, as well as serving as the commissioning editor for global health. Previously, Darren held the role of Senior News Editor for the UK Desk, where planning and commissioning of UK content for the FT newspaper and website were essential responsibilities. Earlier in the career at Financial Times from 1999 to 2006, Darren was the FT.com World News Editor, managing the editorial team for world and UK news, and also worked on the Company News Desk, focusing on corporate news stories. Educational qualifications include a Post-Grad Business Linguist Diploma from London South Bank University and studies at Aberystwyth University.
