Doran Black is a seasoned design and product leader with extensive experience in the digital landscape. Currently serving as Design Principal for Advertising at Financial Times since June 2024, Doran oversees problem definition, solution design, and product innovation while coaching a team of eight product designers. Previously, Doran held the position of Director of Product & Design at Laced, where the focus was on expanding the product function for a global fashion marketplace. Doran's experience also includes advisory work at Antler, where support was provided to founders on product design strategy, as well as significant roles at FARFETCH, where Doran was instrumental in developing partner solutions that created new revenue streams. Doran's early career included key positions at The Telegraph and several digital agencies, establishing a strong foundation in user experience and design. Doran earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a focus on HCI from the University of Westminster.
