Lee Harris

Lee Harris is a seasoned journalist with a strong focus on sustainable finance and investigative reporting. Currently serving as a Sustainable Finance Reporter for the Financial Times since March 2024, Lee addresses sustainability challenges in the business and finance sectors. As a Co-Founder of New York Focus since June 2020, Lee has played a pivotal role in covering critical issues in New York politics, including housing and climate. Previous experience includes positions as a Staff Reporter and Writing Fellow at The American Prospect from June 2021 to December 2023, and Editor-in-Chief at The Chicago Maroon from January 2017 to May 2020, where oversight of newsroom coverage was a key responsibility. Lee also held roles at the Wall Street Journal as an intern and news editor in 2019. Lee graduated from the University of Chicago in 2020.
