Brian Spellman

Brian Spellman is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in securitization, treasury funding, and cash management. Currently serving as Director of Securitization at National Bank Financial since May 2025, Brian previously held senior roles at Canadian Western Bank from May 2016 to May 2025, including Senior AVP of Treasury Funding & Cash Management, AVP of Treasury Funding, and AVP of Securitization. Earlier career experience includes a position as Senior Manager of Transaction Management at Perpetual Limited, and roles as Fund Accountant at BNY Mellon and Senior Shareholder Adviser at Computershare. Brian holds a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Edinburgh and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from Kaplan.
