Joan Brodhead

Joan Brodhead has a diverse professional background spanning several roles in the nonprofit, finance, and small business sectors. Currently a Board Member at the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania since March 2020, Joan also serves as the Senior Executive Vice President at Finanta, a position held since January 2004. As a co-owner of Jimmy's BBQ in Malvern, PA, Joan has contributed to the local food industry since July 2007. Previously, Joan was a Board Member at EDC Finance Corporation of Lancaster County from January 2007 to December 2021, where support was provided for economic development funding strategies. Additional board experiences include Opportunity Finance Network and PA Microenterprise Coalition, with leadership as Board Chair from June 2006 to September 2009. Prior to this, Joan led Brodhead Consulting, delivering services to community development organizations, and held a Vice President role at Meridian Bank from 1979 to 1996. Joan's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Music from Cedar Crest College, completed in 1978.
