Barbara Asu

Barbara Asu is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in financial analysis, advisory services, and auditing. Currently serving as a Financial Analyst in the resolution department at Finantsinspektsioon since August 2019, Barbara previously held significant roles at BDO Eesti AS, including Partner and Head of Advisory Services, where responsibilities included the development of advisory services and conducting financial evaluations. Prior experience at KPMG Estonia involved auditing financial institutions and conducting valuations, while early career experience at SEB focused on investment advising. Barbara holds a Master's degree in Finance from TalTech and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the same institution, complemented by additional studies at Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach.
