Ileana Apostolescu

Ileana Apostolescu has extensive experience in trade finance, currently serving as a Global Services - Trade Finance Senior Business Consultant at Finastra since April 2015. In this role, Ileana leads business process alignment workshops and provides expertise in trade finance while managing system configurations for Finastra's global bank software. Previous positions include Senior Specialist in Trade Finance Product Management at UniCredit Bank Romania and Head of the Trade Finance Department at Credit Europe Bank, where Ileana structured trade finance deals and trained bank staff. Ileana’s career spans several banks and financial institutions, with a strong focus on international trade finance, risk management, and compliance. Ileana holds a Master's Degree in Statistics and Economic Cybernetics from Academia de Studii Economice din București and has a solid background in supporting financial departments and managing complex trade finance transactions.
