Surinder Kathpalia

Surinder Kathpalia has worked in various positions since 2012. In that year, they became a Member of the International Advisory Council at the Indian Institute of Finance. In 2014, they joined The Silent Foundation as an Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee. In 2015, they were appointed as a Member of the Board of Advisors at PercipientCX. In 2019, they became an Independent Director and Member of the Audit Committee at Asian Paints International, and also an EXCO Member and Chair of the Governance Committee at Crohn's & Colitis Society of Singapore. In 2020, they joined The Brand Experience Group as an Advisory Board Member and Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore) as a Member of the Investment Committee. In 2021, they became a Director at Priderock Investments and a Board Member and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at the National Library Board. Surinder will also be a Non Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at finbots.AI in 2022.

Surinder Kathpalia's education history includes a Master of Science in Management from the London Business School in 1993-1994, a Chartered Accountant from the ICAEW in 1978-1982, a Foundation Course for Student Accountants with Distinction from the University of Portsmouth in 1977-1978, and a B. Com (Hons) from the University of Mumbai in 1973-1977. During their studies, they focused on General management - Sloan Fellow, Financial and Management Accounting, Taxation and Auditing, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics and Human Behaviour, and Accounting, Economics, Commerce and Marketing, respectively.
