This Sales Director role’s primary function is to originate and manage FINBOURNE’s relationships with high quality, long term, profitable clients. Its core focus is to generate new opportunities and generate incremental revenue within the [sector] market in [location] through the identification and implementation of a variety of business development related initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and working closely with the product teams, the sales person will work at the heart of the commercial function to deliver the accelerate revenue growth to agreed sales targets. It is supported by multiple functions including sales enablement, sales operations, solution architects and marketing communications.
Key responsibilities:
Identify and implement new business development tactics to achieve annual sales targets
Target potential [segment] clients in [location] to build long term profitable relationships
Target potential influencer network in [location] to drive referrals and recommendations
Develop and implement an individual sales plan that delivers commercial objectives
Work collaboratively with product and marketing teams to achieve sales related objectives
Manage opportunities through the sales cycle from lead generation to won-live
Oversee client onboarding progression to ensure a smooth process with effective client liaison
Ensure CRM system (MS Dynamics) is maintained with up-to-date account, contact and opportunity pipeline information
Ensure campaigns are managed effectively through MS Dynamics including all activity, call reports etc
Provide feedback from clients to product teams and other stakeholders across FINBOURNE
Collaborate with BD individuals across FINBOURNE to maintain a cohesive and productive commercial culture
