Christopher Farrell has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Christopher is currently the Head of US and Global Head of Strategy at FINBOURNE Technology, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at FINBOURNE Technology from September 2018 to July 2022.
Before joining FINBOURNE Technology, Farrell was involved in founding and leading Covalency Ltd as a Co-Founder and Principal from August 2017 to August 2022.
Earlier in their career, Farrell held various positions at NatWest Markets and RBS. At NatWest Markets, they served as the Global Head of Markets Regulatory Change from January 2015 to May 2017. At RBS, they held multiple roles, including Global Head of Volcker Program Initiative, Global Head of Structured Notes and Structuring IT, Global Emerging Markets Manager, APAC Head of Emerging Markets ABN AMRO and RBS Integration, Rates and Credit Manager, and Flow and Structured Rates Manager, between 2007 and 2014.
Farrell also gained experience as a Senior Technical Consultant at Blackstone Technology Group from November 2005 to April 2007.
Additionally, they held a consulting role at WSA Group Japan K.K. from June 2002 to August 2003 and worked as the Flagship Product Lead at Asia-Net K.K. from November 1999 to January 2002. During their tenure at Asia-Net K.K., they played a crucial role in helping the company grow through product innovation and the subsequent majority stake sale to SoftBank Japan.
Christopher Farrell attended McGill University from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Prior to their time at McGill, they studied at St. Olaf College for their Bachelor of Arts degree. Christopher's field of study at St. Olaf College was Economics and Asian Studies.
