Marc-André Picard, M.Sc., FRM has a diverse range of work experience. Marc-André started their career as a Developer/Programmer at the Canadian Space Agency in January 2007. In September of the same year, they worked as a Developer/Programmer at Alizem Inc. Moving forward, they joined Université Laval in May 2011 as a Research Assistant and Developer/Programmer. Marc-André later became a Lecturer and Finance Lab Academic Coordinator at the university, a role they held until August 2015.

In 2013, Marc-André moved to Epoque Investissement Inc. where they served as Co-Founder and Portfolio Manager until September 2017. Since 2015, they have been working at FINCAD where they started as an Associate Derivatives Analyst and later became a Derivatives Analyst. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Financial Engineer since April 2019.

Marc-André Picard, M.Sc., FRM has a strong educational background in both financial engineering and electrical engineering. Marc-André obtained their Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering from Université Laval between 2009 and 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Université de Sherbrooke from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Marc-André also holds the FRM certification, which they obtained in July 2018 through the GARP FRM Program.
