Steven Tieu, Ph.D.

Steven Tieu, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Steven started their career at Systemware Innovation in 2007, where they worked as an Associate Consultant until 2011. Steven then joined Teradici in 2012 as a Design Engineer, and later became a Staff Engineer until 2017. In 2017, Steven joined FINCAD as a Build System Developer, and then progressed to the role of Senior Software Developer. Currently, they hold the position of Quantitative Developer at FINCAD. Steven'swork experience showcases their expertise in software development, engineering, and consulting.

Steven Tieu, Ph.D. pursued their education in physics and theoretical physics. Steven obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Simon Fraser University between 1990 and 1995. Following this, they pursued further studies and earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Simon Fraser University from 1998 to 2000. Finally, Steven completed their formal education with a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Victoria between the years 2002 and 2007.
