Lorenzo Bastianelli

Lorenzo Bastianelli is currently the Head of Planning and Control for the Hull Department at FINCANTIERI, a position held since October 2014. Lorenzo's extensive experience includes roles as Workshop Lead, Junior Production Manager, Production Engineer, and Methods Engineer, overseeing various aspects of shipbuilding, including project management, workforce supervision, and coordination of subcontractors. Lorenzo's responsibilities have encompassed activities in workshops for cutting and bending, pre-erection, coating, and insulation, as well as managing hull and outfitting operations. Prior to joining FINCANTIERI, Lorenzo contributed to research at the Electrotechnics Laboratory at the University of Perugia. Lorenzo holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Perugia and has further education at the Università di Trento.
