Connie Hockaday has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
From 2019 to the present, they have been the Director of Organizational and Leadership Development at findhelp. In this role, they are responsible for executing talent strategies, leadership coaching, management training, and creating a values-based culture. Connie has designed and facilitated strategic planning sessions, implemented diversity and inclusion programs, and developed communication strategies.
Prior to their current role, Connie worked as an Organizational Development Consultant at findhelp from 2019 to 2022.
In 2018, Connie founded and served as the CEO of Group Work Consulting, a creative organizational consulting agency. Connie specialized in implementing strategies for developing culture, leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion, and internal communication.
Before transitioning to consulting, Connie worked as an artist and director, creating immersive social sculptures on urban waterways. Connie also served as Assistant Director at HELO, where they worked on designing experiential and immersive brand campaigns.
Connie's career started as a Teaching Assistant at Portland State University from 2009 to 2013.
Connie Hockaday holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Socially Engaged Art from Portland State University, a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation from Portland State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Participatory Community Development from Prescott College.
