Rich Vazquez has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Rich started their career as an IT Director and Operations Manager at Five Star Produce, where they managed web development, warehouse management system, and telecom/network/desktop needs. Rich then worked as a Sr. Technical Support Engineer at Symantec before joining Community Impact Newspaper as a General Manager, where they determined the technical direction of the CMS web development and developed social media policies.

Afterward, Rich worked as a Lead Web Developer at AllClear ID, leading the web development team and mentoring junior developers. Rich then served as a Chief Technology Officer at Liveo, managing a remote engineering team to build a fitness tracking platform.

Subsequently, they joined TAVHealth as a Software Engineering Manager, where they determined the technology and architecture for the product and managed junior developers. Rich then became the Executive Director of the Austin Scottish Rite Community and Children's Theater, managing the historic building and overseeing large-scale events.

Following that, Rich worked as a Software Developer at Cox Media Group, creating internal workflows and developing Python Django applications. Rich then joined uStudio as a Software Engineering Manager, managing full-stack engineering teams and working on API microservices and reusable front-end components.

Currently, Rich is the Director of Software Engineering at Aunt Bertha, a Public Benefit Corporation.

Rich Vazquez attended New York University from 1993 to 1994, where they pursued a BA in Film and Dramatic Writing. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Dover High School. In terms of certifications, Rich obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)2 in January 2007, and the CISA certification from ISACA in February 2007.
