Robert Downing has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Robert started their career as a Skatepark Attendant at the YMCA of the Inland Northwest, where they focused on maintaining a safe and fun environment for children and organizing community events. Robert then worked as a Rental Technician and Lift Operator at Big Sky Resort before joining Journeys as a Co Manager. Later, they worked at Zumiez as a Store Manager and at Mt. Hood Meadows Resort as a Rental Center Supervisor. Robert also gained experience in the food and beverage industry at Timberline Lodge & Ski Resort. Currently, they are working at Findlay Hats, where they have held the positions of Warehouse/Production Manager, Collaboration/Retail Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Events & Customer Relations.

Robert Downing earned their G.E.D from the Spokane Institute of Extended Learning in 2008. Robert later pursued an AA degree from the Community Colleges of Spokane and another AA degree from Spokane Falls Community College, though the specific fields of study for both degrees are unknown.
