Owen Dwyer is a financial professional with extensive experience in investment management, particularly in natural resources and equity research. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Fineco Asset Management since October 2021, Owen previously held significant roles at State Street as an Analyst in Natural Resources, where responsibilities included generating performance for managed funds and supporting the broader portfolio management team. At OMERS, Owen managed a $600M Global Long-Short Natural Resources portfolio, and at Pioneer Investments, held the position of Equity Analyst and Portfolio Manager for Materials and Energy, playing a key role in managing $15bn in investments. Earlier positions included Director of Chemicals Research at Merrill Lynch and Manager in the Strategy Group at A.T. Kearney. Owen began a career in the sciences as a Senior Scientist at Glaxo, where contributions included the invention of a manufacturing process for Lamivudine. Educational credentials encompass an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh.
