Safat Siddiqui

Safat Siddiqui is an Applied Scientist at Finetune since August 2022, focusing on algorithm development. Previously, Safat earned a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, contributing to the creation of recommendation algorithms and conducting analysis on user interactions during this time from August 2017 to August 2022. As a Graduate Research Scientist at Smart Girls HQ from August 2021 to May 2022, Safat developed personalized STEM event recommendation algorithms and collaborated on experimental designs targeting K12 students and their parents. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at the Quantum Foundation from 2014 to 2017, where Safat utilized distributed machine learning and built data pipelines for website traffic analysis. Safat holds a Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
