Sr. Director - New Technology BA New Business at Fingerprint Cards

Johan Hammersberg has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Johan is currently employed at Fingerprint Cards as the Sr. Director - Head of New Technology BA Mobile PC and Access China since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Fingerprint Cards AB as the Manager Technology Development from May 2019 to September 2022.

Before joining Fingerprint Cards, Johan worked at Chalmers Industriteknik as a Business Developer Electronics and Technology Transfer Manager, focusing on technology transfer and business development in the field of electronics. Johan held this position from May 2018 to May 2019.

Johan also has research experience, having worked as a Researcher at ABB Corporate Research from October 1998 to September 2001, and as a PhD student at Linkoping Univeristy from 1993 to 1998.

Johan Hammersberg completed their Master of Science degree in Physics and Electrical Engineering from Linköping University, studying from 1988 to 1992. Subsequently, they pursued further education and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Semiconductor Physics, completing their studies at Linköping University from 1993 to 1998.
