Solutions Engineering Leader at Fingerprint

John George has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. John started their career as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where they worked on software design and development, coding services, and presentations for clients in the Telecom Domain.

Following that, John joined the University of Texas at Dallas as a Student Worker/Researcher in the Cloud and Semantic Computing Lab. Here, they focused on implementing new concepts and ideas in semantic and cloud computing, integrating Hadoop and Hbase into Jena for faster data storage and retrieval, and exploring possibilities of integrating Lucene and ARQ.

John then interned at Verizon as a Student Intern, gaining practical experience in the telecommunications industry.

John's next position was at Cisco Systems, where they held various software engineering roles. As a Software Engineer, they worked on building and maintaining the dev-ops pipeline for phone load deployments and maintenance. John also served as an Automated Test Framework developer for Cisco's Android-based Desktop Collaboration and Conferencing solution. In their subsequent role as a Senior Software Engineer, John researched and prototyped proof-of-concepts for future Cisco collaboration products and contributed to different areas of the collaboration endpoint stack.

After Cisco, John joined AppDynamics as a Senior Sales Engineer, where they played a key role in the pre-sales process, helping customers identify their business observability needs and addressing process bottlenecks and pain areas. John was awarded MVP for Territory Sales during their time at AppDynamics.

Currently, John is working at Fingerprint as a Solutions Architect and has recently been promoted to Solutions Engineering Leader.

John George completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2002 to 2006. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas.
