Artem Popov

Artem Popov has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Junior Software Developer and Intern Developer at Yandex, where they developed quality evaluation tools for query misspell correction and machine translation projects. Artem also conducted experiments over misspell correction algorithms and developed a third place submission in ACL 2014 WMT quality estimation task. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Instructor at Computer Science Center. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at V Kontakte LLC as a Machine Learning Team Lead (Computational Advertising) and Data Scientist | Web Developer, where they were responsible for managing and developing Computational Advertising, Data Science, Machine Learning Highload Web projects and teams. Artem also worked on a variety of Data Mining and Machine Learning projects. Finally, from 2022 onward, they have been working as a Team Lead | Data Scientist and Lead Data Scientist at Fingerprint.

Artem Popov received a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from ITMO University in 2014, followed by a Master's degree in the same field from the same university in 2016.
