Adewale Balogun

Adewale Balogun has extensive experience in the field of software engineering and technology leadership. Adewale is currently working at Fingo Africa as a Technical Engineering Lead and Senior Full Stack Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Flutterwave as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2019 to May 2022. Before joining Flutterwave, Adewale worked at Interswitch Group as a Software Engineer from December 2018 to July 2019.

In 2018, they held the role of an Android Lead and Deputy Mobile Manager at Softcom Limited. Adewale was responsible for developing Android apps based on the designs provided by the UI/UX Designer and ensuring smooth communication with the Backend Engineer for efficient data transfer.

From February 2017 to April 2018, Adewale worked at Intelligent Innovations Co. as a Technology Team Lead and Full-Stack Software Engineer. In this role, they were involved in defining technology policies, conducting code reviews, and managing projects and teams. Adewale also gathered and analyzed business requirements for mobile and web applications.

Before that, they served as a Technical Consultant at Inlaks Nigeria from December 2016 to February 2017 and as a Senior Software Engineer at Appiculate Limited from April 2015 to November 2016. Adewale also worked at Orbi Technologies as a Lead Android Engineer from October 2014 to May 2015 and at FASYL TECHNOLOGY GROUP as a Financial Services Consultant from June 2013 to June 2014.

Adewale Balogun earned a B.Sc degree in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan, attending from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their SSCE degree at Nickdel College Ibadan from 2003 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt from GoLeanSixSigma.com in December 2018, Android Essentials, Kotlin Essentials, and iOS and Swift Essentials for the Enterprise from Big Nerd Ranch in June 2018.
