Jari Martikainen

Jari Martikainen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and IT management within the energy sector. Currently, Jari serves as Unit Manager for the Telecommunication Unit at Fingrid Oyj, overseeing telecom solutions for numerous investment projects, network strategic planning, and maintenance. Previously, Jari held roles including Unit Manager for Control Centre IT and Telecommunication Services and ICT Manager at Fingrid, as well as IT Manager and System Manager at Helen Sähköverkko Oy, where responsibility encompassed IT architecture, cyber security, and operational IT systems. Jari commenced a career at Fingrid in 2000, building a strong foundation in power systems, electricity markets, and operational IT systems. Jari holds an Executive MBA in Strategy from Aalto University and a Master’s Degree in Power Systems from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
