Jukka Kakkonen

Jukka Kakkonen is an expert in balancing markets with current experience at Fingrid Oyj as a Customer Manager and team lead in Reserve market services since August 2022. Previously, Kakkonen worked at Fortum from May 2014 to July 2022, holding roles including Power Portfolio Manager focused on intraday and reserve trading, as well as Production Optimizer and Intraday Trader. Kakkonen’s earlier experience includes a research assistant position at Aalto University while completing a Master's Thesis, along with internships in nuclear fuel groups and EU affairs. Kakkonen holds a Master of Science degree in Energy Technology/Energy Economics and Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Energy Technology, both from Aalto University.
