Olli-Pekka Janhunen

Olli-Pekka Janhunen is an experienced power system engineering expert currently working at Fingrid Oyj since May 2017, focusing on power system stability in converter-dominated systems, including grid-forming STATCOM projects and GFM battery energy storage systems. Previous roles include Specialist and Planning Engineer, where Olli-Pekka conducted EMT and RMS simulation studies and participated in international working groups examining subsynchronous oscillations. Olli-Pekka's career began with various trainee positions at Fingrid Oyj and other companies, complemented by a robust educational background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, gaining degrees from Tampere University of Technology and Technische Universität Chemnitz.
