Venkat Avvaru

Venkat Avvaru is an experienced software engineering leader currently serving as Head of Software Engineering at Finish Line Product Development Services since August 2024. Previously, Venkat held the position of Vice President of Software Engineering at Bright Horizons from February 2023 to April 2024, and served as Senior Director of Engineering at Wickr from December 2020 to February 2023, overseeing the development and delivery of various Wickr products. Venkat's extensive background includes a role as Director of Software Development at IBM from October 2010 to November 2020, focusing on multiple product lines within the IBM Watson Commerce portfolio, as well as serving as Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Sterling Commerce, where Venkat contributed to the development of key product lines.
