Julia Nunnally Duncan is an accomplished author specializing in poetry and nonfiction, with a focus on themes related to Southern life and personal experiences. Currently serving as a Poetry Book Author with Redhawk Publications since February 2024, Duncan's latest collection, "When Time Was Suspended," reflects on small town Southern life. Other notable works include "All We Have Loved" and "A Place That Was Home," exploring universal themes of family and belonging. In addition to literary pursuits, Duncan contributes musically as a Pianist at St. John's Episcopal Church in Marion, NC. A seasoned educator, Duncan has taught English at McDowell Technical Community College for over three decades, holding both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts from Warren Wilson College.
