Bahareh Yekkehkhany is an experienced Applied Remote Sensing Scientist at Finite Carbon since June 2022, focusing on forest change detection models and utilizing tools such as Google Cloud Platform, Python, and QGIS. Previously, Bahareh contributed as a Research Assistant at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, developing a SAR vegetation index through machine learning algorithms. Educational background includes a PhD in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary and prior degrees in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Tehran. Bahareh has also held teaching and research roles at multiple academic institutions, demonstrating expertise in various areas of geomatics, statistics, and programming.
