Olivia Ouyang

Olivia Ouyang began their work experience in 2016 as a Product Requirement Manager Intern at BMW China, where they contributed to the conceptual design of Human Machine Interfaces and presented user insights for China localized design solutions. Olivia also designed an internal product roadmap tool. In 2018, they worked as a UX Designer Intern at Segway Robotics, where they designed cross-platform user interfaces for a robot transporter. At Step, where they worked from 2019 to 2021, they led the design system for the app and Admin Dashboard, improved the App Home Screen, and iterated the ID verification process. Most recently, they worked at Flexport as a Product Designer, leading the design for products under Marketplace. Olivia conducted research, collaborated with teams, and played a role in developing product strategies. In 2023, they will join Finix as a Product Designer.

Olivia Ouyang began their education in 2013 at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Olivia completed their undergraduate studies in 2017. In 2017, they furthered their education at the University of Michigan - School of Information, specializing in the field of Human Computer Interaction. Olivia Ouyang successfully obtained their Master's degree from the University of Michigan in 2019.
