Carmen Anton Herrerias has worked in a variety of roles in the legal sector since 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a lawyer for Thalassa Advocats, specializing in Real Property Law. Carmen then moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal where they worked as a lawyer in International Business Law from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, they joined CELISTICS as In House Counsel, where they were responsible for Corporate Governance. From 2017 to 2018, they were Head of Legal and Compliance at Axon Partners Group, and from 2018 to 2019 they were Head of Legal at Finizens. In addition, from 2006 to 2007 they were a Membership Outreach Intern at Coalición por la Corte Penal Internacional (CPI).
Carmen Anton Herrerias obtained a Law Degree with Graduate Studies in Finance from Centro Universitario Villanueva (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) between 2000 and 2005. Carmen then attended the Manhattan Institute of Management in Manhattan, New York in 2006, where they obtained an International Business Management degree. In 2007, they completed a Seminar on Real State Law at Enfoque XXI (Alicante) and a Master in Business Law at IE Law School. In 2009, they attended a Conference on Peacebuilding: International Peace Operations at IECAH / Universidad Pontífica Comillas / Ministerio de Defensa (Madrid) and obtained an International Legal English Certificate from the University of Cambridge in 2015. In 2016 and 2017, they completed a Compliance Officer degree at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros and a Preparatory course for MiFID Certification at IEB, respectively.
