Art Smoljan

Art Smoljan has extensive experience in the steel industry, specifically in sales and business development. Art is currently the Director of Oil & Gas Sales and New Business Development at Finkl Steel, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Finkl Steel from November 2016 to July 2022. Before joining Finkl Steel, Art worked at Bohler Uddeholm Corporation, where they held various leadership positions. Art was the Director of Business Development - Specialties from February 2014 to November 2016, Vice President of Sales from May 2011 to February 2014, and Vice President - Specialties from February 2010 to April 2011. Art also served as the President of Bohler Uddeholm Specialty Metals, Inc. from May 2007 to January 2010.

Art Smoljan attended Lewis University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained an MBA degree in Finance. Prior to this, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Illinois State University from 1979 to 1983, earning a BS degree in Industrial Technology.
