Jacob Steenhoek

Jacob Steenhoek is a Process Engineer at Finkl Steel since June 2023, focusing on support and analysis for claims and rejection investigations through root cause analysis, as well as supporting steel-making processes to meet quality requirements. Previously, Jacob served at Cummins Inc. from September 2017 to June 2023, advancing from Materials Engineering Associate to Senior Metallurgical Engineer, where responsibilities included providing metallurgical expertise, leading a materials science project to enhance ultrasonic inspection, and executing root cause analyses for metal engine components. Jacob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Iowa State University, earned between 2012 and 2016.
