Basti Garcia-Lopez De Llano is an experienced financial leader and venture capital expert currently serving as Group CFO at Openminder since January 2024, after joining its Board Team. Basti also holds the position of Senator for Mexico at the World Business Angels Investment Forum and as Managing General Partner at Ananda Venture Partners, focusing on investments in Latin America. Additionally, Basti serves as General Partner at THCF, where a boutique VC fund has been structured to finance cannabis industry ventures, and has been involved with LookInto in various capacities, including Board Member and Business Development Manager. With a background as CFO and Co-Founder of Nomad Republic, a travel agency with a social impact focus, Basti is also a strategic advisor with BCV Consuloria, supporting startups and investors across the Americas. Basti's academic foundation includes a Master's degree in Business and Technology from Collective Academy and a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Universidad Iberoamericana.
