Sergio Espeja

Sergio Espeja has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Sergio is currently the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Finletic, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to that, Sergio worked as a Fractional CTO, Tech Consultant, and Advisor, beginning in October 2022.

One of Sergio's significant roles was as the CTO of jobandtalent, a world-leading temporary job platform, where they contributed to its growth and success from April 2013 to April 2022. Sergio also served as the VP of Engineering at jobandtalent from September 2012 to April 2013.

Sergio's entrepreneurial spirit led him to found and develop verycocinar.com, a popular gastronomical WebTv platform, from May 2007 to January 2022. In addition, they worked as the CTO of Herzio Technologies S.L. from May 2010 to June 2012, where they designed and developed online promotion and monetization tools for bands.

Before their entrepreneurial endeavors, Sergio worked as a freelance web developer and consultant from January 2008 to May 2010. Sergio also worked as the CTO of SendTrueLove.com, a wine e-commerce startup, from September 2008 to December 2009. Prior to that, they held a role as the Technical Director at bee.com.es from October 2005 to December 2009, where they developed web applications using Ruby on Rails.

Sergio's early career includes positions as a Computer Scientist at IULA Universitat Pompeu Fabra from August 2005 to August 2008, and as a Web Analyst at Agbar Servicios Compartidos S.A. from October 2004 to May 2005.

Sergio Espeja's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which they attended from 1998 to 2005. During their time at this institution, they participated in the Erasmus Program and studied Computer Science at the Université catholique de Louvain from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, they pursued further studies at the La Salle International Graduate School from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Master's degree in Innovation Management for ICT Professionals.
