Jane Murdoch

EVP & General Counsel & Interim CHRO at Finning

Ms. Murdoch was appointed to the position of General Counsel of Finning International Inc. in 2016 and also served as Corporate Secretary from 2016 to 2020. Ms. Murdoch brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Finning, as well as relevant industry experience having served an extensive client base of mining companies. She joined Finning from Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP, a national law firm with offices in Vancouver and Toronto, where she was a partner in the firm’s mining group and securities group, advising clients in the areas of business law and securities law. Her experience included working on public and private securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions, and advising on disclosure and other regulatory requirements applicable to public companies, as well as commercial contracts. Previously, Ms. Murdoch was a partner at Lawson Lundell LLP, a leading western Canadian business law firm.

Ms. Murdoch holds a Bachelor of Laws degree as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of BC.
