Ben Springer is the Director at Finsbury Glover Hering, a position they have held since May 2021. Ben also has experience in monitoring and reporting on North American carbon market developments, including RGGI program review, AB32 legal challenges and market dynamics, and Canadian provincial carbon pricing implementation. In addition, they have provided expertise on evolving state regulatory models and proceedings, including New York REV and ZEC programs, Illinois’ Future Energy Jobs Act, Minnesota’s e21 Initiative, Maryland’s Grid Resiliency and Utility 2.0 efforts, and California’s climate and renewables proceedings.

Ben Springer began their educational career by earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Religious Studies from the University of South Carolina. Ben then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Politics and International Studies with a specialization in Eurasian Studies from Uppsala University.
